Today was Outreach Day at RVA. Carson was not able to go because he made the JV volleyball team, and they had their first match today. By the way, they won!

Amy, Mason, and I boarded a bus with about ten RVA students and another teacher to head down into the valley to v...

I shared a few days ago that Carson found a Jackson chameleon. This is a pretty cool reptile with three horns on its face and changes color.  We asked Carson to let it go back outside, but he had other ideas. He decided he was going to try to keep it in his bedroom. Hi...

This blog post is dedicated to Joan Patterson and Miss Elaine at Calvary Baptist. I was thinking of you when I wrote it since you might want to read these books along with the mountain of other books you read each week!

We are feeling much better yesterday and today. The jet lag is wearing off. Yesterday, we were given a tour of the RVA classrooms. It is a beautiful school. We'll post pictures later.

We arrived in Nairobi at about 11:00 p.m. local time. We had to wait until our eight suitcases were the last eight to be taken off of the plane. We made quick work of immigration and customs.

Some new RVA friends, Bob and Jennifer, picked us up in the school van. We to...
